The Elongated or Modified Bear Paw traditional wood snowshoe is a great snowshoe for hunting, trapping, and long-distance hikes in dense forests. Its narrow width and greater length provides excellent flotation in deep snow and allows efficient & silent movement in crowded areas of the forest and offering more versatility in the open field.

• Frame is made from Appalachian White Ash and webbing from rawhide

Note: It is recommended to apply varnish once a year at the end of the season to prevent the wood frame and raw hide to absorb moisture and water. That will extend the life of your natural snowshoe. We recommend using a wood boat varnish.
